She asked, “hope the scooter is alright”.

I was sad and felt she was not at all worried about me.
She gave me a look and was busy with the daily chores. I cried and decided to clear my queries.
I asked her, ” Maa, you are not at all worried about me. You are more concerned about that vehicle.”
She smiled and said, ” yes, I am”.
At night, I felt the warm touch of her. She blessed me and went off.
Now, I can understand the strength she portrayed knowingly before me.
I do the same to pass my strength to my children.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Thanks for reading.
